Christopher Aaron aka DELR ONE is an American Contemporary "Post-Vandalism" Artist, raised in Los Angeles, and living in San Diego, California. Best known for his large cement pieces, he has created a style of painting that transforms the language of the street into a hybrid form of abstraction and urban realism.
Delr uses symbols and archetypes that are essential elements of the collective unconscious, the universal intra-psychic structuring device innate to humans. It is as if the necessary acquired information learned by generations past is provided to us as a shortcut to our own evolution. He also uses the progression of physical changes to evoke growth and wisdom rather than stagnation and loss, inviting appreciation of the miracle and blessing of life. Delr has been exhibiting in solo and group shows since 2011 and has his own Gallery in La Jolla, California, the Christopher Aaron Gallery. His work has been featured in multiple publications, as well as with collectors around the world.
